Santa's Sleigh Bells is a one-woman cottage industry, hand-crafting authentic sleigh bell sets for over 20 years.
Santa's Sleigh Bells began as a small family business in an old barn in Wisconsin as Lignite Leather & Bells in the 1990s. Handcrafting authentic sleigh bell straps for horses--think dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. There is nothing more magical than sleighing in fresh snow at Christmas time.
As professional Santa's took interest in our quality horse sleigh bells, we soon developed an extensive line of bell sets just for them. In 2000, Lignite Leather & Bells launched Santa's Sleigh Bells, bringing to market our Santa products and Believer Bell gift bells.
As time went on, the bell elves grew up, and left the workshop. Today I focus solely on Believer Bell gift bells, and continue our
mission to keep the spirit of Christmas alive, one sleigh bell at a time.

Authentic Sleigh Bells
- Hand-crafted using traditional methods and patterned after the classic jingle bells used over 100 years ago.
- Traditionally sand cast out of bell brass, with a classic engraved petal pattern and polished outside surface.
- All sleigh bells are solid brass. Silver bells are chrome-plated solid brass.
- Classic jingle bells sound with wonderful sound and a bright clear ring. Smaller bells have a higher, brighter tone; larger bells have a deeper, lower tone.
